How do I get more customers?

It is the question that each consultant asks.

Because clients are the soul of any consulting business.

Without customers, you can't keep the lights on.Without clients, you cannot make payroll.Without customers, you cannot grow.
So how to get more customers and
how to get corporate clients?There is certainly no silver bullet. I wish I could write a blog post and say "X", and today you will have customers knocking on your door and for years to come. Instead, getting new customers requires time, energy and a lot of effort. To obtain a constant portfolio of clients, you must invest time in establishing relationships, networking and marketing your consulting. In this post, I have covered 33 strategies that you can use to get new customers. You may be familiar with some of these at a glance, but read them because I have included helpful tips, resources and tools for each.

1. Request references, do not wait for them

Ok, ok, I know ... references are the most obvious and well-known way to get new customers.
However, many consultants only expect references to fall into your lap. After all, satisfied customers should spread their name, right? Most customers will, but sometimes customers are busy and do not go out of their way.
Instead of waiting, open your email and find 2 satisfied customers, who have not yet sent you references.
You are going to send them an email right now asking for a reference. Seriously ... do this.
Below is the copy of the email I used, which worked very well. I opened checking the client and then requested a direct reference. Do not walk around the branches or leave it open, and keep it short:How is [Company] doing? I enjoyed working with you on that project and I would love to know how it goes.

On a side note, I am looking for new clients to work. Can you connect me with any person or company in your network that can use my services at this time?

2. Partner with agencies

Partnering with an agency is an excellent way to attract new clients.clients looking for advertising agency. I have used this exact strategy and created a partnership with an agency that sends me at least 1 new client per month. I also make sure that the agency is bigger than my consulting firm, so I am not competing.
I found that agencies generally pass the job because:

The budget is very low.
They have no interest in the project.

They do not have availability
They do not have the required skills or experience
Normally, when an agency rejects a potential client, it will refer you to a new company in your network. That's where you come in. I contacted a dozen web agencies with a personalized email offer to partner with or take on any work they miss. I received answers from about half, and established phone calls with each one to discuss further. Usually, I sent an email to the person in charge of business development, as they were focused on building relationships with external suppliers.

3. Examine job boards

This is really another obvious thing, and you probably already use job boards.Then you think how to get your first interior design client If you don't, check all these items below and check them daily for new projects. This is probably one of the easiest ways to get new customers. These meetings include logo design, web design, development, marketing, writing and various works. The positions cover remote control, full time, part time, contract and more, so there are many options.

When I say "lost customers", I mean clients with whom I have spoken or sent a proposal in the past, but who did not win the business. Check your email and find customers you lost more than 2 months ago. Send them a follow-up email asking them how your project is going and if there is anything they can do for them. This tactic tries to be useful and show you that you care about the customer. This can lead to a small project or even cause a new conversation about hiring it, if you are not satisfied with your previous selection. Otherwise, it is still on your radar and you can see some references in your path.

5. Follow up with your network

Browse through old e-mail conversations with colleagues, connections and people with whom you have spoken in the past, which might be suitable for your inquiry. Keep a record of each one and ask them what they have been doing and how they can help.And think how to find companies that need marketing  Like twitter , LinkedIn other social media here you can find many company .
Asking how you can help the person, whether giving comments, advice, suggestions or doing a small task, can be rewarding and helps you build relationships with the right people. Remember, if you strive to help someone for free, you are likely to return the favor and help.
I followed up with a businessman I met a few years ago, who had recently founded a company. He asked for my opinion about his product and any advice he had. I received a call with him to speak, and then he hired my consulting for an internal design and work of UX.6. Run an advertising campaign
Facebook and Google Adwords ads are great ways to advertise your consultancy to potential clients. Both platforms allow you to set a small daily budget for those who have little cash or want to test the waters. I found that Facebook ads are easier to use than Google Adwords which definitely has a pronounced learning curve if you're new. PPC University is an amazing resource to learn how to run effective campaigns, or see Kudu, a service that will manage and execute campaigns for you. For visitors who visit your website and leave, you can use reorientation services such as Ad roll or Perfect Audience. These platforms allow you to track who visits your site, and then allows you to post ads through Facebook, Twitter and other online marketing channels. You can also try buying buy ads from BuySellAds. However, there may be a higher minimum budget, depending on the sites and creative you select.

How to find clients online?

I joined my friends who worked in graphic design and shared clients with them. It would be really impressive for you to offer them an "internal" solution for your design and coding needs [FOCUS ON THEM AND THEIR CUSTOMERS. IT IS ABOUT THEM].
I could provide you with this service, completely "private" as part of your company. It would offer a great overall experience for your customers [BENEFIT # 1], and also create a good financial bonus for you [BENEFIT # 2].
